He aqu\u00ed una de esas maravillas involuntarias. Hace muchos a\u00f1os le\u00ed, en la traducci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola de Cosmos<\/a><\/em> de Carl Sagan, que entre las obras menos conocidas de Sir Isaac Newton<\/a> se encontraba La cronolog\u00eda de los antiguos reinos Amended<\/em>, un libro que re\u00fane buena parte de sus esfuerzos por corregir errores hist\u00f3ricos en las escrituras sagradas. Tard\u00e9 alg\u00fan tiempo en convencerme de que los reinos Amended no exist\u00edan y el t\u00edtulo original estaba mal traducido: The Chronology of Ancient Kingdoms Amended<\/a><\/em> ser\u00eda, m\u00e1s bien, La cronolog\u00eda enmendada de los antiguos reinos<\/em>…<\/p>\n

Eso s\u00ed: qu\u00e9 maravilla, de todas formas, poder imaginar al menos un tiempo a los misteriosos Amended. Creo que alg\u00fan d\u00eda escribir\u00e9 sobre ellos.<\/p>\n

Entretanto, la propuesta es jugar un poco m\u00e1s el mismo juego: localizar una frase mal traducida (o que pudiera traducirse mal) y en la que se escondiera un personaje extra\u00f1o, un lugar inexistente o, como en el caso que he contado, un pueblo ficticio entero.
