\u00c9stos son los d\u00edas fue el libro que empez\u00f3 a dar reconocimiento como cuentista a Alberto Chimal. Ganador del Premio San Luis (conocido en sus comienzos como Premio Nacional de Cuento: el m\u00e1s importante que se da en M\u00e9xico a un libro de narraciones breves), es una colecci\u00f3n heterog\u00e9nea de cuentos cuyos\u00a0dos elementos en com\u00fan son lo extra\u00f1o –o lo fant\u00e1stico– y el n\u00famero siete<\/em>, que aparece de maneras sutiles en el ordenamiento de los textos y en la trama de varios de ellos. En este libro est\u00e1n \u00abSe ha perdido una ni\u00f1a\u00bb, cuento ganador de los premios Benem\u00e9rito de Am\u00e9rica y Kalpa, y \u00ab\u00c1lbum\u00bb, probablemente el m\u00e1s conocido y celebrado de su autor. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 \u00abShant\u00e9\u00bb,\u00a0una novela corta escrita en homenaje a Philip K. Dick que anticipa mucho del trabajo posterior de su autor.<\/p>\n
